The Volunteer Coordinator will be committed to achieving the following results: Assesses volunteer needs of the community Perform volunteer recruitment and placement for Volunteer Department programs Interview and place volunteers in community and agency assignments Provide information and support to volunteers Coordinate and monitor volunteer assignments Incorporate and track performance measurement principles Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations Track volunteer hours and perform data collection and data entry as assigned Perform promotion/outreach for Volunteer Programs Assist with development, oversight and implementation of volunteer projects Work in partnership with Volunteer Outreach Coordinator Assist with organizing and implementing Annual Volunteer Recognition Event Assist with Oneida County Livable Communities Action Plan projects Attend trainings and meetings as necessary to the Volunteer Department Responsible for any other duties as assigned by the Strategic Initiatives Director or the Executive Director Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED Experience working with volunteers Computer and Technical skills Excellent communication/customer service skills Valid & Clean NYS Drivers License & own vehicle required Travel between 50 Forward locations required References and background check required Benefits: 50% match for health insurance of the individual, Retirement after 1 year, Vacation & Sick Time
