Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Accounting Specialist with a strong background in automotive parts and purchasing to join our team . This high-priority role requires someone who can quickly address discrepancies in orders received, utilize their knowledge of parts ordering operations, and work with new systems to identify and correct errors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and verify incoming orders for accuracy and compliance with purchase orders.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in orders received, collaborating with suppliers and internal teams as needed.
- Manage the purchasing process, ensuring timely and accurate orders for automotive and lawn equipment parts.
- Work closely with the inventory and procurement teams to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Utilize and adapt to new systems and software to discover and correct errors in order processing and accounting records.
- Assist in financial reporting, invoicing, and reconciliation of accounts related to parts ordering.
- Maintain accurate records of transactions, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in automotive parts management and purchasing.
- Strong understanding of parts ordering operations and supply chain processes.
- Experience in an accounting or finance role, particularly with order verification and reconciliation.
- Proficiency in accounting software and experience with new system implementations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- High degree of integrity and confidentiality.
Compensation:
The hourly rate for this temporary project-based role ranges from $30 to $32 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

This project will be based in our Rancho Cordova office in Sacramento, CA.
