Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints and building plans to determine specifications and necessary materials.
- Construct and install wooden frameworks, including walls, floors, and door frames.
- Measure and cut materials to precise dimensions using hand and power tools.
- Ensure structural integrity by following safety protocols and building codes.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project timelines are met.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on existing structures as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant vocational training is a plus.
- Proven experience as a framer or in a similar construction role.
- Strong knowledge of framing techniques, materials, and tools.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Excellent physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor.
