Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery
Location: Hyannis, MA (02601)
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 07:00 PM – 07:30 AM
Pay Rate: $60 – $62/hr
Position Overview:
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN to provide high-quality maternal and neonatal care. This role involves comprehensive patient assessment, care planning, medication administration, monitoring, and supporting patients through labor, delivery, and postpartum care while ensuring adherence to professional nursing standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
Maintain accurate and current patient records.
Provide thorough assessments, including physical, psychological, and social factors, and develop care plans.
Communicate pertinent patient information to the care team.
Function effectively as a charge nurse when assigned.
Utilize computerized nursing systems proficiently.
Serve as a resource for staff orientation, clinical support, and patient care guidance.
Participate in quality monitoring and improvement activities.
Adhere to all safety and infection-control protocols.
Maintain confidentiality and represent the facility with professionalism.
Uphold exceptional customer service standards for patients, families, and staff.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred).
Active Massachusetts RN license.
BLS and ACLS certifications required.
NRP certification required.
Recent OB experience within the last 2 years.
Fetal Monitoring Course completion (Intermediate or Advanced, every 2 years).
Successful completion of facility pharmacology exam (if required).
CPI certification preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
