Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) is a physician‑led, 650+ provider multispecialty group seeking an Interventional Cardiologist for a 13‑member cardiology practice in Boise. The group includes 5 Interventional Cardiologists, 5 Invasive Cardiologists, and 3 Electrophysiologists, supported by a robust interventional and operative provider pool. The Heart Institute offers Women's Cardiology, Cardio‑Oncology, 3 cath labs with peripheral capabilities, a 22‑bed cath/EP prep & recovery unit, cardiac nuclear medicine, vascular ultrasound, echo, and EKG diagnostics. Procedures performed include diagnostic adult cardiac catheterization, percutaneous coronary interventions, balloon angioplasty, coronary and vascular stent placements, pacemakers, ICDs, ablations, coronary thrombectomy, TEE, peripheral vascular angiography and interventions, IVUS, intracardiac ultrasound, cardioversion, and tilt table studies. The practice is integrated within an 18‑member cardiology team spanning Boise to Baker City, Oregon, and holds ACC Chest Pain accreditation and Idaho Time‑Sensitive Emergency STEMI, Stroke, and Trauma designations.
Cardiac MRI and CT angiography, cardiothoracic surgery, vascular surgery, trauma, neurosurgery, and a large hospitalist & intensivist team. SAMG has a network of 74 primary and specialty care clinic locations. The cath lab is staffed with board‑certified cardiologists, registered nurses, radiology techs, and cardiovascular technologists.
