JOB REQUIREMENTS: Johnson Controls, Inc. seeks Plant Controller at its
facility located at 2300 Aerial Drive, Marinette, WI 54143. JOB DESCRIPTION: Provide the business with informative, relevant and timely financial information on monthly performance, forward-looking budgets and forecasts as well as supporting the business in driving operational initiatives. Provide support to Management\'s decision-making processes by handling the analysis and reporting around key business drivers and financials. Provide finance expertise and business support to the Plant Operations Director and management team. Develop the plant finance team, which includes three direct reports. Provide financial analysis and commentaries on monthly Profit and Loss, balance sheet, and other relevant business KPIs, with comparisons to forecast and budgets, such as Cost Centre and operational analytics, variance analysis, management reporting and corporate/segment support activities. Coordinate and prepare the annual budget submission and monthly forecasts with input from local management and functional business groups. Ensure business interface with the Regional Business Centre (RBC). Lead and coordinate the monthly financial close and support the RBC. Work on the plant financial control environment. Prepare and submit capital expenditure investments and post-acquisition reviews. Support Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement projects including the validation of supporting financial business cases. Make v\'s buy decision analysis. Update product standard costs and set transfer prices in line with JCI policy. Work on inventory reporting and maintenance of ERP product costing information. Understand bill of material and routings. Monitor and report Plant inventory ensuring DIOH targets and inventory health goals are achieved. Organize and coordinate the annual physical inventory count and/or a perpetual inventory count process. The Role will supervise three (3) direct reports: Assistant Plant Controller, Cost Accountant, Finance Rotational. No Telecommuting Allowed. REQUIREMENTS: This position requires a bachelor\'s degree or foreign equivalent in Finance, Business Administration, Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Plus Three (3) years of experience as a Cost Accountant, Assistant Controller, or related occupation in the finance or related industry. Additionally, the applicant must have employment experience with: (1) Working within a manufacturing environment; (2) Using standard costing methodology; (3) Manufacturing ERP systems; (4) Commercial finance, budgets, and forecasting activities; (5) Utilizing Microsoft Office applications to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports to support Operations; and (6) Utilizing Hyperion OneStream to review financial results and submit monthly financial forecast and annual budgets.
