Position Summary

We’re looking for an experienced Residential Remodeling Estimator with strong proficiency in Xactimate software . This role is key to ensuring our clients receive timely, accurate, and transparent estimates for their remodeling or restoration projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential construction and a passion for serving others with excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct job site visits to assess damage or project scope

  • Develop detailed estimates using Xactimate , ensuring accuracy and consistency

  • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to create material and labor takeoffs

  • Collaborate with project managers, homeowners, and insurance adjusters

  • Provide excellent customer service in alignment with our company values

  • Maintain organized records of estimates, revisions, and project documentation

  • Contribute to a positive, respectful, and transparent work environment

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience estimating residential remodeling or restoration projects

  • Proficiency with Xactimate is required

  • Knowledge of building materials, construction techniques, and code compliance

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple estimates/projects

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for site visits

Preferred Experience

  • Background in insurance restoration claims or related work

  • Experience with construction project management software or CRM tools

  • Familiarity with local permitting processes and building inspections
