Job Title: Asset Manager

Location: HHI Corporation – Main Campus, Ogden, UT
Reports To: Logistics Manager
Pay Range: $18.00 – $23.00 per hour (DOE)
About the Role
The Asset Manager plays a key role in supporting HHI’s operations by managing the flow of materials, tools, and equipment between HHI locations and active job sites. This position ensures accurate asset tracking, efficient dispatching, and well-coordinated logistics. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and confident working both in the field and an office environment.
Key Responsibilities
Asset Inventory & Tracking
- Maintain accurate inventory of all HHI-owned equipment, tools, and materials. Be familiar with the HHI equipment and tools by name and site.
- Track asset checkouts, transfers, and availability across job sites and locations.
- Ensure inventory records are consistently updated within asset management systems. Log equipment in and out with new purchases or retired equipment.
Dispatch & Logistics Coordination
- Process dispatch requests and schedule timely transfers of materials and equipment. Verify equipment approved for mobilization and assist with general inspections of equipment coming and going from HHI campus.
- Coordinate and optimize truck driver routes and delivery priorities.
- Communicate delivery details with jobsite teams and campus personnel.
Warehouse & Field Support
- Supervise and assist with loading and unloading shipments, ensuring safe handling of materials.
- Organize and maintain warehouse layout and asset storage.
- Ability to operate HHI equipment/vehicles to make deliveries when needed.
Third-Party & Vendor Coordination
- Work with external logistics providers to schedule pickups/deliveries.
- Resolve any issues related to shipment conditions, delays, or discrepancies.
Documentation & Communication
- Maintain accurate dispatch tickets, inventory logs, and equipment records.
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve asset availability or dispatch concerns.
Safety & Compliance
- Follow and enforce all HHI safety protocols during loading, transport, and storage operations.
- Support drivers in maintaining DOT and safety standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
- Ability to operate forklifts and similar warehouse equipment (certification preferred or ability to obtain).
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to discuss issues with other employees, visitors and in meetings.
- Competent with technology and digital tracking systems (training provided).
- Preferred - Excel and Word, typing skills (60 wpm), EZO, Smartsheets
Working Conditions
- Standard Hours: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (1-hour lunch)
- Work is performed in office, warehouse, and outdoor environments.
- Occasional travel to HHI job sites required. Ability to get on military bases.
- Ability to lift and move materials as part of daily operations. Lift 50 lbs.

- Accuracy of asset tracking and documentation

- Continuous improvement initiatives in scheduling or asset visibility
- Knowledge of HHI equipment
