Apprentice Electrician (Commercial)
Montgomery County, PA
Hourly Rate: $22.50 - $25.00
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems under supervision of a journeyman electrician in a commercial setting
- Help install new wiring, install lighting, replacing parts in a construction setting using MC cable, run conduit and wire/terminate devises is a plus
- Assist with troubleshooting and repairing electrical issues and equipment
Requirements
- Adhere to all safety codes, protocols and regulations
- Must have 2-3 years working in the electrical field in commercial settings
- Must have attended electrical schooling
- Commercial electrical experience required
- Must be able to manage the completion of individual electrical tasks given
- Able to read blueprints, rough in MC cabling, run conduit, and wire/terminate devices is a plus
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Must be comfortable working with heights
- Must be able to lift heavy objects
- Must possess a positive attitude, and have strong communication skills
